This is the beginning of a land development or re-development project. My Topo Maps will give your design team the quality information to create the project you want. This project was in Santa Ynez Valley, near Solvang, CA
Helping you go from raw land (Boundary and Topographic Surveys for Engineering design) to the home of your dreams. Also, add-on, ADUs (additional dwelling units) and landscaping improvements can benefit from surveying services before construction starts. This home will have San Luis Mountain in San Luis Obispo, CA, as the background.

It says a lot if your friends won't hire you or work with you.... the above picture is of me and Phil Reimer working at Alan Naye's home in Truckee, CA. A great bike ride, some work and a great barbecue, plus keeping in touch. Priceless!

One of the business concepts I was taught when I moved from the field to the office was to return calls... something simple, but one of the biggest complaints clients have w/ consultants, especially engineers. All calls will be returned promptly, within 2 to 4 hours.

Salt water, sand and steel pipelines didn't work well together, and after multiple leaks, this oil field was shut down. I worked on a team that created the GIS database that aided in the removal of the pipelines, tanks and other oil field faucilities and started the remediation process in southwestern San Luis Obispo County
I have worked on all the different Land Surveying phases of multiple solar projects throughout California, including the cities of: San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, Richmond, Santa Cruz, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara and Paso Robles
After San Luis Obispo city officials noticed failures to the streets above the creek, a project to reinforce the existing tunnel was started. I lead a team that created a topographic map of both the interior tunnel structure and the surface streets above it. The walls (both tops and bottoms), upper support beams, steps along the flowline and all storm drain inlets were located along this 1300' tunnel. Surveying the utilities affecting the project and creating a construction centerline for the tunnel were also some of our tasks. This project ran from behind a coffee shop near Higuera Street and Marsh Ave to the San Luis Creekwalk at Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa.
California PLS 6423, Expericened since 1978, Licensed since 1990, I have continued to learn and expand my knowledge & skills in this ever changing world. Called "Part of the new generation of Surveyors" by an instructor at OIT, I've gone from hand drafting to CAD, and from using a steel tape and theodolite to GPS and Robotic Total Stations.... and I've embraced the technology, but understand the theory and history. We really do follow in the footsteps of previous Surveyors.
With my experience, I've come to understand the importance that communication, reliability and quality has in helping you complete your projects.
with age and experience comes reflection..... time spent doing things you like with family and friends becomes more valuable with each trip around the sun....
Cycling, hiking, outrigger canoeing, and just about anything outdoors keeps me happy and at peace.
